This is fun to read. It almost reaches the vibe and wit of Oregairu, just with more eye-rolling tropes on this one.

QUICK SPOILER FREE REVIEW:

If you think this will be some extreme glow up and romance hijinks, it's not, at least not yet. It's a competently told story about a salaryman who is trying to redo his life when he unexplainably goes back to his high school days. He uses the lessons he learned as a hardworking employee but this time without the shackles of adult responsibility. No fights. It doesn't dwell too much on the romance aspect, but it's there in light touches. The MC would be an ideal medium for self-inserting except he actually has personality here, albeit not that much.

The narrative can't seem to allow for the MC to be anything but completely in the right, whatever the conflict is. He should ultimately be thankful to his peers for teaching him how to be so utterly Japanese in his first life, however unintentional and roundabout.
