Enjoy! Many people (me included) have written college essays on the this movie and its queer subtext.

I do not remember sadly (perhaps a sign I should rewatch) but it sounds like something miss lolita would do.

found it, diff movie (short? ) tho i think 'rococo' is also a style within the lolita umbrella lol

As with most things, you can get expensive stuff or cheap stuff. I have a cheap lolita dress. It was $50 and you can tell: the fabric isn't very thick, the shape isn't very tailored, and the bows are safety-pinned on. But it looks pretty and it's fun to wear!

It's also not too hot as a result; at this point in the year it's too cold for me to wear. It's ideal for summer.

Thankfully I've not spilled anything on it yet. Actually I haven't washed it yet...going to have to do that by hand given the apparent fragility of it.

Yeah makes sense, you could always wash/clean clothes no matter how 'fancy'. tho i wonder how many upper rich ppl are buying those like 300 dollar shirts that look simple/basic versus going all out and such. dry cleaners still exist but i'd hope some are easy to take care of at home. i bought a sailor uniform from a cosplay shop, it isn't too flashy but i haven't rly worn it all that much lol
