I'll consider this a "fatwa" against scalpers, convert myself to islam and launch a terror campain. Thank you very much for the scans, and remember that you have a part of responsibility in the crimes I will commit.

I find it funny that she says scalpers are against the base principles of capitalism when they're like the most basic low level form of capitalist there is.

Reading this while having tickets to a summer music festival is intimidating...

I knew there was a reason I liked this manga, what a collection of totally on target opinions.

It's really not. Capitalism is about privately owning the means of production and extracting wealth from the effort of others. A member of the capitalist class, in other words, has passive income, because they are getting paid for work other people are doing simply because they own the entity employing them. Don't confuse capitalism with trade, which is something that absolutely exists in non-capitalist economies. And scalping too--there was plenty of scalping in communist economies, for instance.

It's more that I was confusing hoarding with capitalism than capitalism with trade. As I had extended the definition of capital to any asset rather than just factory equipment. Because to me, it doesn't matter whether an individual owns the factory or is buying everything it produces for resale. The same type of person causing the same result in the end: goods getting sold at a higher price.
