There's something about martyrs, man. It's like I'm watching the end of "Braveheart" or witessing Roger dying. Of course, the setting is different, but that defiance of common sense, even when faced with horrible, horrible fate is inspiring even to me, a regular guy in my desk.

How inspiring must it be to some of the people in the crowd, who understand the weight of Damiens' words? How inspiring might it become for Jack, whoever he becomes in the future? The revolution is set to start in just 32 years. He could very well become a vital part of it yet.
