While the end was rather sudden and the relationship itself kinda felt like the whole 'manic pixie dream girl' trope but for lesbians, it's nice to see the dark-haired woman eventually move towards taking that big step out of her comfort zone. Societal expectations and the fear of failure really does do a good job of grinding your dreams away.
