Author's depiction of cats behavior and facial expressions are so spot-on it can't get any more realistic than that, especially considering how ultra-detailed are cats drawings in this manga.

It's actually pretty amazing that she/he (I genuinely doesn't know the mangaka gender) has never made a full on manga about cats. Like look at that cat. Literally look like a photograph of a real cat. Now I'm starting to think the mangaka actually just traced it from a picture because it looks way too real
