Agreed with @NightHalocraft .
They're both adults now, they didn't see each other for 10 years, neither had romantic relationship (he because he's not social at all, her because she didn't find anyone else "cool"), it's ok.

And the best thing here, it's not even a isekai, thanks god.

Anyway, this title is long.

is this another story with a beautiful young girl being in love with her father figure? there are such a great number of it these days that i'm disgusted by it, even if we ignore the age gap the fact that mc basically raised them is so creepy, really hope that it isn't the case here but if it is i hope it is well done

I get it mate,

I mean is such rare to have old wise sage with bread as MC in this day

I also digg the Ossan protag in this sea of teen protags. But just sometimes i would have liked them to actually be portrayed their age.

I just don't care if this is or isn't romantic. She's 25. A whole grown adult. MC didn't groom her. He was just a genuine kind dude. If she develops feelings for him and wants to date him, I feel like that's fine. Like seriously She's not a child. If both parties are adults and are fine with it who cares.
I get what you mean and understand your reasoning. 2 consenting adults, are 2 consenting adults. But parental figures turning into romantic interest is off-putting to most.

Its like taking in a foster kid. doing your due diligence (by that I mean being a good guardian, and no grooming). You become their mentor. And 4 years later when you reconnect after uni romantic feelings blossom.

Imagine this

-Lets say a 10 year old girls aunt gets a new husband. He's now her uncle. Not related by blood but fully engaged in the family.
12 years later the aunt and him divorce and in another 2 years the "niece" and "uncle" develop adult feelings start to date. People start to ask questions. And you caint blame them.
Is it legal? Yes. Is it weird. Yes. Did this happen irl? . . . 😐 . . . So I may be biased.
