between the shota elf and the yaoi butler - it would seem that this world is a conjunction point of multiple story universes, and the MC is capitalizing on this fact by traipsing about and "saving"/stealing various characters she likes from these stories and bringing them under her employ?

And some happen to also be reincarnators (like our first Mage Knight character), but not all (at least thus far).
Honestly kinda neat. A story wherein multiple "isekai worlds" conjoin into one locus or nexus point wherein the MC just fucks about and goes on adventures is an interesting-enough premise, and at least offers up a lot of settings to keep things from getting stale.
Will be interesting to see what her ultimate plan is from here (assuming it's more than "collect my oshis and get lots of merch items for my castle" which ...wouldn't be the worst, but maybe a bit tame).

You’re thinking of waifu. Which normally refers to a fictional character being your ideal wife or something.

An oshi is one’s favorite character. Either from fictional work or an irl group like idols or even actors.
Like the series, oshi no ko, which centers around entertainment figures like idols or actors. You want to support and promote that character or characters very much. And people of oshi culture usually buy merch related to their specific oshi or use products or partake in food or drinks the oshi is said to like

Hence why, she said she wanted three copies of the holy grail, for daily use or display.


And while oshi culture just like idol or otherwise, can get out of control, the mc here is giving her favorites new chances because they were unfairly discarded or mistreated

Well yeah, I assume that's just the plan for like the next 2 fiscal quarters.
I'm mostly curious if she is in fact running into the IRL manifestations of various story characters, and if they're all congregating in this same world somehow, and what that implies if it truly is the case.

Because that means this world is some kind of nexus for various games & stories to become real, which opens the door to some real zany shit.
