I usually don't like to respond to these scathing comments but this time I have to point this out.
This fox-ear actor girl was indeed a nobody back then. She was a part time waitress at some cafe and afilm studies student but in chapter 204, page 8 it clearly shows that Mu Siyun and Beiyang fleet got a secret message from the immortal godmother detailing all the Daxia leaders and related personnel. This actress is on there and since he remembers her and she is on the same planet he decides to meet with her, especially since she's related to a Planet Lord who is supposed to be under HIS FLEET'S jurisdiction.

Edit: I do have to note that like most Chinese manhuas, reading bulk chapters is better since development is usually lacking in single chapters and this may have caused people to forget.

I lol at those who take comics too seriously. Telling the whole world that you're gonna stop reading it like it's a historical event. As if the rest of us give a damn.

really? I think most writers/comic authors do the same when they're releasing stories on a weekly or so basis. I mean you can plan a lot but when you're doing something like a comic they'll tend to try and appease the readers which can cause story issues which they're probably aware of but choose to do so anyways. They probably saw that the character is popular and decided to reintroduce her into the main story. And the author did try to make it like he(mu siyun) only found out when the daxia people sent the info on the top people(planet lords and their family?) of daxia's allied nations. But whats with the anger 'cause it doesn't seem like a something so horrifying.

Alright if you're wondering how the fuck no one recognizes Mu Siyun despite him being some bigass hotshot Evil Dragon, consider this.

Marilyn Monroe was asked during an interview how does she go out normally, she took the interviewer with her, changed her walk, let down her hair, and literally no one paid attention.

She then did her "trademark" walk, tied up her hair, laughed and smiled, and then everyone went nuts shouting, "IT'S MARILYN MONROE!"

Now take our MC; every time his face was broadcast, he was doing something insane, be it painting someone onto a deck, rescuing a princess, or fighting a R1 battle puppet. He goes out, in normal, lower-middle class clothes, and does nothing interesting at all, NO ONE FUCKING NOTICES HIM. If they think he looks like Evil Dragon, they'll think it's a coincidence. Cause there's no way the EVIL HEAVEN DEFYING DRAGON is wearing street clothes, no escort, no harem, WALKING on the street.

@YueEr

Yeah, lots of the plot and character development is really several chapters long, nevermind the arcs themselves.

Why exactly does he need princess Lu to pull some strings to talk to planet lord Shenshui? It's not like the planet lord can tell him no regardless of the request. I'm going to make an assumption that he was unable to get in contact with the planet lord due to not being able to locate her and the lack of telecommunications.

What exactly does Planet Shenshui have that could be beneficial besides agriculture? It's a fucking hole in the ground with little to no development.

Also the plot is not that bad. It requires a little more thought to put things together but, that's not exactly a bad thing.

Like they said this chapter, Lord Shenshui is part of the Dragon Slayer Alliance, which was formed against the MC. It's not like he can just show up her doorstep and ask for a chat, or that she'd say yes. That approach would probably end up with either a huge fight (if he brought his fleet) or an attempt to capture/kill him (if he didn't bring his fleet).

This setup seems pretty feudal, where although everyone may say they're serving the king/shogun/emperor/ruling council, the truth is that the various factions are having their private wars, and while the MC might have the title of fleet admiral on paper, the central power is weak enough that the only real authority he has is what he can enforce with his personal army and threaten with his own alliance. This kind of half came up during his conversation with the ruling council guy - that's part of the reason why they're letting him run around doing whatever he wants (as long as it's sort of in line with their goals), because they don't really have the power to act themselves.

To be fair, it's not as if the political setup has ever been fully explained in an exposition dump (thank god), so this is just what I'm managing to guess based on how we've seen people acting so far.

What exactly does Planet Shenshui have that could be beneficial besides agriculture? It's a fucking hole in the ground with little to no development.

Every planet lord he gets on his side gives him more political legitimacy, and the potential to get more votes going his way in the Daxia-wide voting process we saw between planets back during the slave thing, and weakens the Dragon Slayer Alliance by an equal amount. I'm guessing that's the main reason. It may also give him more freedom to act, since he's not supposed to interfere with internal affairs on any planet he's not directly associated with, but it might be a different story if a planet lord asks him for his fleet's help. (If you'll notice, most of the interference he's done was either arguably an act of self-defence, or took place on a planet supposedly in his domain.)

except, she was hiding her ears even when she worked back then. Then he gets some secret document, and all of a sudden he IDs the waitress from that? and knows exactly where she is? Yet he shouldnt haven even know she had foxtaur ears. Its not about being her popularity to the readers. its when tieing her into the story the authors taking shortcuts or just doing a bad job at it. Cause he releases chapters once a week, might be an excuse for making mistakes and not thinking things out. But it gets tiring to read. I read a webcomic called unordinary thats released week to week too. I've barely seen any major story mistakes in that one, its webcomic I been enjoying. Seems to flow the story pretty naturally well. So its possible to pump out a good manga/manwha week to week.

I just getting tired of the authors bs/mistakes/shortcuts. Especially now that the MC is treated as a god on his own. Theres no suspense or tactics now in his battles. We havent seen zip of his "Dragon girl" partner in over 200 chapters either. I think the authors forgotten about her too (remember shes the one who made the MC an Angel).. You know.. the Dragon of Calamity ? or was it world eater? (I've forgotten but she had an ominous name) Been awaiting for her appearance again and nothing.
Mistakes or if its just shortcuts, its still made this story shit for me. Thats my issue with it, My patience has only gone so far.

Yeah, but to be fair the pacing of unOrdinary is so slow that only one thing happens a month.

This is why people have names. It's not that much of a leap to go "huh, this person looks familiar and has the same name as the waitress at that cafe I stayed at for two months. Hmm." As for finding her, she was just on a commercial flight, and it's not much of a stretch to think a fleet admiral could get immigration/customs/flight logs to know what planet she's on, and/or potentially have some of his thousands of underlings call up whatever talent/casting agency she's associated with (or perhaps call her college's drama program, if she was booked through them), etc. It's not that hard to find someone if you've got the time and resources and know a little bit about them, or at least, it's not so hard that it breaks immersion for it to happen offscreen. Hell, they mentioned earlier that space travel can take weeks or months unless you do stupid stuff like jumping through black holes, which is definitely enough time for someone with thousands of people under their command to make enough calls to figure out where most of the people on that list are.

There's a lot of stuff that 'just happens' in this series with little explanation (some of the political wrangling still confuses me, there's very little clarity about how much time passes between events, and it is a bit of a coincidence that one of the family members of a planet lord is someone the MC already has a connection to), but him figuring out who this girl is and finding her location offscreen is such a weird thing to nitpick over.

There's no suspense or tactics now in his battles.

Considering that the series started off with the MC surviving something no man should ever survive (by a literal deus ex machina) and emerging powerful enough to turn the tide of a losing battle, it's been obvious for a while what kind of ride this was going to be.

Its not really a signature move, its just the artist's laziness, but its still funny, so its okay :D
