@eyescream007 Didn't that blond haired one say that there was no way that Dragon slayer alliance could have formed that fast, so they must have been forming for a while and used him as an excuse to come out?

Fim, he can be a pacifist who doesn't like unnecessary violence or war and still do what needs to be done. He killed Man Eating Eagle like that to make a point to the other members of Anti-Dragon Alliance. If he was a violent fellow he'd have just killed them all as traitors to Daxia. Just have his forces block the exits off, then he, Shenyuan, Yuan and the Shuras with him could have killed them since Ditu's garrison forces were already taken down and reinforcements are probably headed to where Eagle had fought Shenyuan.
eyescream007, like Krusek said Immortal Goddess had noted that couldn't make a giant ship like that in just a few months. The Anti-Dragon Alliance is just using Mu as the pretext to form up and fight Daxia. Remember, during battle at Merak where Yihue's insect army was invading the fleet was saying there were about three hundred million people down there, to kill two hundred million, and not to worry if kill more than that. Also, it takes time to pick out, supply and transport even just a few hundred ships so the only way several hundred thousand could show up at the same time was if preperations were made ahead of time and coordinated to appear so close together. Based on hints from multiple chapters this isn't something planned up within a year or two, but the elder members of Anti-Dragon Alliance like Ditu have been planning and moving behind the scenes to take planets for their own greed and rebel from Daxia for at least two decades. Heck, it took the Dowager a few years to hand over Pleides to Ditu even after poisoning the Emperor and Empress and taking control. Seems like a lot of the members, at least Ditu in particular, doesn't like being told can't do whatever they wants without some censor or punishment or answering for it even though the Daxia elders have overlooked a lot and want to have the highest authority themselves.
@MaxReboBand while killing the leaders usually is a good way to quickly end a conflict just killing them, even if justified, doesn't mean the masses will approve or accept it. In this chapter he beat to death someone whose title denoted he ate people, admitted on live stream he tortured and killed people he should have been protecting, and glorified in performing multiple crimes against humanity rather than repenting them. Yet despite all that, Mu having the Sword of State making him an universal judge, and Eagle being as guilty as hell Himiko's son still repudiated Mu's actions in ch227 as that of a madman without etiquette or propriety. Being right doesn't mean everyone will agree with the methods, especially from those living in a safe place for a while and abhor violence of any kind. Planet Lord Yihuo ruthlessly gunned down numerous Shuras, turned himself into an alien Insect King, attacked Merak, destroyed his own planet, and yet was still lauded by Bao as an ambitious and talented individual not recognized and cast aside by Daxia. Also, just because you take the leaders out doesn't mean there isn't someone under them of like mind waiting to take their place. For example, it's been mentioned that Ditu has numerous sons who would be happy to see their father dead so they could take his place and all the sons we've seen so far have shown the same personality and temperament their father does.

@Mathiason Being more violent in that situation might save a couple hundred million to a billion lives. Killing the leaders is typically the fastest way to end a conflict. It would kickstart a short war but, without leadership Dragon slayer alliance would quickly crumble.
