Is anyone else unable to use their DM's?

I logged in to see that a porn bot (or person Idk) had followed me. I politely tried to explain to her why following random people on MangaDex wasn't a great way to get viewers, and in trying to send it MangaDex informed me that they were in the middle of working maintenance on the DM's system. Has anyone else experienced this, and is it likely that this porn bot/person is the cause of it?

Happened to me. Just a random friend request. Tried to message and no message available.

I think it has been down for a while now. Saw a post on support (i think) a week or two ago mentioning that it was down.
