Is it cool if I just compile an author's Oneshots into one title instead of registering a new manga for each one? Eg: "Haruki's twitter one-shots"

Pretty much just what the title says.
Been picking up oneshots by Haruki Sakata, but they post one pretty much every other day and it's often just a single page twitter oneshot.

Thought it'd make sense to just register a manga page dedicated to their one-shots, waaay easier for readers to follow their content that way.

The unwritten rule here is - if the author has made such collection/anthology themselves, then yes, we can group those one-shots in one title page for example here and here. Otherwise, each one-shot should have it's own title page and should not be grouped arbitrarily.
You can always look at the "collection" of an author works under their own artist/author pages.

Wow, that was an annoying avatar to have open on the second monitor (technically had the forums main-page, but it shows the avatar twice there atm). It's animated.

At least this post should fix that, hopefully (because the main page only shows most recent post in thread).

and since posting solely off-topic stuff is discourteous:
I have seen ppl do what you describe before. Any manga containing the word "anthology" is essentially that (not always oneshots, and not always same author. But sometimes exactly what you describe). And afaik there is nothing in the definition of anthology that requires the author or publisher to be the one aggregating the stories (rahter, haven't there been several famous ones where ppl just walk around collecting folk-stories?).
But there might be something in various copyright laws that requires it... And since staffmember said as much explicitly above, there is definitely something in md rules requiring it :p

There are definitely examples where arbitrary groupings have been made (like this: https://mangadex.org/title/4f68cbf4-60ee-47d7-925e-8c7c86385037) but this should be the exception, not the rule. We're not a booru board :nyoron:
