eh I dont really get why he wants to help someone that literally kidnapped someone that he held dear and then planned to murder him. Pretty strange logic

@SSS26032002 yup, she did to make the people obey. It seems like divinity isn't something that can be conveyed through writing or art very well, and it's probably something akin to a complete belief that you have to listen to the person in front of you or bad stuff will happen.
