ok, after reading the manga and looking at some of the comments

in the manga a person's fingers are cut off and their eye is taken out with a corkscrew, not the chapter of the comments but prior one

and looking at some of the comments:
Right or wrong I'm thinking you might expect some comments to be out of the ordinary. I'm guessing the response guy probably shouldn't be reading that one and probably didn't interpret her comments as a joke. On the OP side i'm guessing it was posted as a combo of an attempt at humor and bait and got the desired effect.

...I think it would be wise to not take every interaction you have via texts on the internet so literal. No, the user in question was not actually wishing death and pain upon you or your family/friends. He was trying to showcase the error in your logic by making you envision a similar scenario to realize for yourself how what you're saying was unreasonable.

Did he word it badly? Was it rude? Yeah. Was it a threat? Was it a personal attack? No. Even if the user in question was actually threatening you in that bit you put in bold, it wouldn't be a personal attack. You clearly don't understand what a personal attack is, otherwise you'd know the closest that user came to throwing around a personal attack was saying, "are you stupid?" - which still doesn't qualify as an actual personal attack for what should be obvious reasons.

You and I both know this is not your first day on the internet. Let's stop pretending like it is.

People don't know pando talk like that pando sounds weird but that's pando's persona in mangadex and I assume with other anime websites I did find pando weird at first but you get used to it and not take whatever pando say seriously unless stated otherwise by pando it's mostly when pando stops using pando typing pando and mentioning pando.

Changing from default1 to default2 (or any other defaults) is like someone asking you to move (out of a doorway) so they can get through, only for you to flail your arms around and say "hey, I'm technically moving, right?"

It's worth recognizing that a pic actually does play a part in how you appear to others when said pic appears alongside everything you have to say. So for better or worse, pfp's do represent users.

i'm not waving my hands. I'm just using my pic to say, in general, I don't care about them. To me that is what my pic should represent to users. So, since you insist they have meaning, out of curiosity what does yours represent? I don't recognize the image.

To preface, me stating that they have an effect on how users are perceived isn't done out of subjective reasoning. While I play it up for the meme, the underlying objectivity to my (unironic) points still exists.

"Insist they have meaning" could sound misleading imo, as it's not like I'm out here legitimately critiquing people's pfp's based on deep symbolism and stuff.

As for my own pfp, it's pretty surface level (I guess most are tho). I like the grasses meme from Berserk, so I use a pic of Guts wearing grasses.
