Mangadex black screen

Hi MangaDex team,

I'm using an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.8.8. The main MangaDex website shows a completely blank black or white page, but the forums work normally.

I've tried Safari and Google, clearing website data, private browsing, enabling JavaScript, changing light/dark mode, and changing DNS. Nothing fixed it.

Could this be a compatibility issue with iOS 15.8.8?

Oh and i tried to switch to vpn to which didnt work

iOS 16 is the latest supported version. All iOS browsers are just safari and are locked to iOS version. Or something like that.

Not really, but there is no 'solution' for iOS 15 - it's outdated enough that the 'most current' version of Safari (which all browsers on iOS before 18.2 use as the base engine, regardless of reskinning) it uses simply isn't compatible with the site anymore. The only thing to be said at this point is 'get a more current device' - iOS 16.4+, 17.2+, and 18 will use a current enough version of Safari that they should be able to access the site.

Oh, a fellow iPhone 7 owner! Like others have said, our phone is just outdated...

My bank app is warning me that it's going to stop working soon. It happened two years ago, but it kept working... If it really stops working, I'll have to get a new phone.
