Well I want to say that I get the feeling that the mc isn't actually on another planet but on the future where the inhabitant is actually his mom's creation when I read till page 6. Honestly the author makes it a little bit disapointing that he decide to tell the whole truth at this chapter, I mean it's much better to just leave some clue here and there and when reaching the chapter finality the reader can say "Oooh so it was like that" with a satisfaction smile. For example Attack on Titan deliver that really well giving the reader more and more clue about the truth about titan and the world they live. Imagine if Eren learn the truth at episode 3 season 1 then it won't be as much interesting as we got now.
