Same. I thought this was supposed to be the last chapter?
It is. Staff was just delayed in marking the publication as Completed. I've also updated the volume numbers even though 4 isn't published yet so that the "End" tag shows up.

Didn't really answer the question why she wanted to reboot civilization all the time... initially i thought it was due to balance of planetary resources to avoid depletion through industrialization. But the ending suggests otherwise and resources were not the choke point in why she kept resetting civilization. So what WAS it all for?
As far as I can tell, it was corruption that she wanted to prevent. Corruption born from too few people with too much power causing a disgusting inbalance.

Having just read the whole story in one sitting, I think that basically, society imploded due to technological advancements causing a lot of damage to the earth and ultimately leading to wide-spread wars. First chapter gave the impression that Earth was in really bad shape overall, and I got the impression from the flashbacks that Earth and humanity had already been in their twilight years at that point. A bunch of scientists got together to try to save the world, but Eve decided the best option was to just do a hard reset. Basically the "nuclear war can't happen if they never reach the point they start developing nuclear weapons" mindset, with a touch of eccentricity added in.

That said, while the manga ended in a pretty nice way and didn't feel rushed, I do think the author could tell the numbers weren't strong enough to guarantee continued serialization so they changed gears to end it on their own terms. I feel like there were some plot threads that were meant to lead somewhere, like how the demon lord at the facility with the kids apparently disappeared. And in that same arc, Noah used a disguise and said that's what he originally looked like, and we also saw a silhouette of him with long hair when he transferred bodies which didn't really match up with his flashbacks.

Also worth noting that the robot AI and ship, "Ark", was... well, called Ark. And it was a spaceship carrying a person named "Noah", and then her own name was Eve... I'm guessing the original plan of all the scientists was to make an actual ark for humanity. But Eve was eccentric so she decided "screw that plan" and went for a hard reboot for a world without technology to try to prevent it from ever occurring again.

But since the author saw the writing on the wall, they altered the story to remove that backstory so they'd be able to give it a well-paced and proper ending. Makes me a bit sad the author didn't have a chance to feature everything they wanted.

The worldbuilding was its selling point; I was hoping that the author had more explanations about the reset, the pope, the heroes, and the demons' culture. Alas, it ended abruptly.

i wonder how society felt with 50 years of absurdly advanced civilization, ik there's anomalies here and there but it was sth else. Did the humans got their memories altered after the whole reset incident terminated and pope is gone.

the current timeline population prolly consist more half bred than pure human (depends on their xx xy chromosome), wonder f there's a cult in the timeskip

incest route? previous convos and flashbacks hints noah is ellie's brother all along

weird short gambino read, still pretty good tho

This whole story happened in a few days, Noah quite possibly has the fastest speedran in both saving and progressing of a world. Was way too fast paced and barely got to touch on the world building that Eve made. Had very little connections with few characters which is understandable with 25 chapters but man I wished this manga was more fleshed out.

Dude just woke up, rescued a girl, protected demons from humans, beat a hero in a day, next day attempted to rescue more demons in the human city and end up meeting another group of demons/humans then plans to stop the pope from killing demons. After the story of why demons were made, the demons end up being in Eve's control with the pope and Noah teaming up to try stop Eve in that same day, Noah beats her and next chapter is the good ending.

Dropped this around chapter 15 a long time ago cause it was starting to be a drag to read. Overall very meh. While it was carried by the art the premise was good, the twist was good, but the pacing (probably due to declining viewership) as well as the motives were poorly done. If this was better executed maybe it could've been great

"Almost died when having her child"

Ayo???
probably due to it being half... what the hell even is Noah? An alien found by humans? An artificial lifeform made as a weapon?
I don't think we ever got full confirmation.
