We're three for three now. Considering the next chapter will inevitably get the cute waifu character, I wonder what stereotypes they'll give her.

That is, if I care about reading the next chapter.

this guy is really bad in the surviving area, he didn't boil the water or make a filter, he put his tent and camp in the open, without any trap for depredators and he even put the fire next to his camp attracting mammals.

Color me intrigued.

Hell, you could color me intrigued the moment I looked at the tags, and saw Isekai, without the ((((((comedy)))))) tag. Thanks for translating this.

Looks good so far, but it bugs me his first thought about being in a unfamiliar place was "This is another world!"
If he had said it after analysing the plants and weird animals, it probably wouldn't have bothered me.

@Kilryu
Well he did end up in a forest after getting hit by a truck in the middle of a city. But yeah, details like that would have been nice.
Either way this is another manga to temp us food we cant eat that looks mouth wateringly great.

Just for curiosity sake, is there any scientific basis for that "crustacean are in water so it might be safe to drink"?

Also curious of the basis for that "safe to drink" thing (I know some certain kinds are very sensitive to the water conditions, but is that really something that can be extended to the entire family?). Aside from that as others have said his survival skills are not very good. He doesn't boil the water to be safe, and I am not entirely certain but I remember being taught that uncultivated (aka wild) crustaceans are potentially dangerous to eat. At least I remember being told about it being wise to avoid consuming sweetwater ones found in the wild. Dont remember if the cause was possibility of disease/parasites, or if it was related to toxins of the lake accumulating in them, or what ever else the reason might have been.

EDIT: also, why is he talking about smog when he mentions the stars, as opposed to the much more prevalent and noticeable light pollution of modern cities?
