As was explained in an earlier chapter, she can't walk due to a broken ankle, so she's staying at the camp fixing it with her magic, and even then, that's going to take a while. Some weeks from what I remember of the conversation.

He offered to carry her around, but she countered with the fact that the monsters in the area are too dangerous for her to do something like that.
