I'm just looking for a wholesome romance and this seems to fit the bill, I also like power fantasies and this might also fit the bill but we'll see.. this might become a favorite of mine so let's see how it goes 😋 I just read "Eiyuu to Kenja no Tensei Kon" and was looking for something similar.

Edit: I've reached chapter 15 and there's still no romance, and I'm kinda bumped out about it .. it's still an enjoyable read though.

Are there really too many gates? I count 5, 6 if you count the waterway as a gate(I don't think they drew that right, pretty sure that is supposed to be a man made waterway to access the river, like an irrigation channel or something for the city). Anyways for a large walled city 5 gates doesn't sound WAY too many. Though two of them are much too close together I would say. Take off that far right hand one that doesn't even have a major road in the city leading to it and it mostly looks fine I think.
