pretty much! who among us contract workers have not had a laborious project shoved at us at the last possible minute and then had their direct supervisor leave on a two week trip to another continent immediately after such that no guidance on the project is available?
that said, the panel literally shows Weiss taking flight which I assume dwarves in this universe cannot do, so it feels obvious enough to me that it's Miyabi's interpretation of events rather than an accurate recounting of objective fact.

at some point i had a contract job that was physically impossible to accomplish according the specs in the protocol. I contacted a supervisor asking for direction. he responded with a laughing emoji and then went on vacation in europe for two weeks.

i'm very very glad you think this is unrealistic and would never happen in real life because it means you've never been subjected to this. no one deserves to be subjected to this. maybe there's hope for this world yet

I for one love the inclusion of "kthx bye lmao" because it adds to the comedy, also I may not have ever worked in either engineering nor architecture but in retail I too have had bosses who did not understand how my job worked. All of them, even the ones who "worked their way up and started in my position" refused to understand when I tried explaining. the job was cart collection at Walmart so the job need not be complicated for bosses to not understand.

I will never understand people who come read gag/comedy and then whine in the comments "where ma realism and grittiness?!?" like the genre wasn't clear in like chapter 1, I mean when has this manga taken itself seriously? Just lie back and enjoy the funny, not everything has to be serious and/or realistic.
