What there even is to think about?! Go for it, 100%!
You have nothing to lose, and one heck of an opportunity to gain; and if by any convoluted and improbable chance, somwhere in the future you will think you'll be better off alone, you could always leave. They are the closest thing to parents she have: maybe they may protest and even cry a bit, but in the end they would send her off with all their blessings. Like they already did in the past.

I love the scene where Liz and Miyabi had a talk. Their interactions is the primary reason I'm reading this.
I'm glad they are slowly becoming a family (dad and daughter lol).

"What got me through is knowing this is the future I chose for myself. So, whatever you choose for yourself, I'll follow you with no regrets."

Isn't that a contradiction? He added following Liz is what he's there for, but anyone would understand that's just bullshit. If Liz became a terrible person, he definitely wouldn't be happy following her. If Liz wasn't happy as a part of Red Cliff, how would he be happy with supporting her? He needs to choose his own future, just like he just said. If it's compatible with Liz's choice, then that's all swell and good for both of them. But joining Red Cliff wouldn't be good for him. Probably not for Liz either.

Someone said Mel could join Liz and Miyabi's group. That I actually wouldn't view as impossible. Mel seems like a cat (surprise surprise), who just needs some simple things to be happy, but doesn't otherwise care all that much about what she's doing. Miyabi can provide Mel with high comfort even during missions, which would suit Mel fabulously. The only downside is that the missions they pick might not be that exciting for a B rank adventurer like Mel. I could imagine Mel enjoys challenging fights every now and then, being a cat. Those fights might be too much for Liz and Miyabi, for the time being.

Maintaining a relationship with someone that has been mutually beneficial is a motivation, but writers and people don't know how to communicate that well, so neither do MCs. They say simplistic stuff instead like "I will always support you".

I think the Red Cliffs would hold Liz back because of the personal history interfering with them treating her as an equal (and expecting equal power). Contrariwise, Miyabi would heavily benefit from the joining of the group without Liz around, since he would be able to mature in the ways of the other world fast, and not being treated disrespectfully.

The only way Liz doesn't hold back everyone is if her magic control symbiosis with the elf Lady is actually unique and potent; possibly applicable to even Miyabi's magic. But I really doubt the author did this development - seeing how it would become a more gritty atmosphere - and so I am hoping they both refuse. I don't want to see the age heckling/age clowning on Liz by the party any more.
