It is somewhat refreshing to see it taking a bit longer than average for a character like Alisha/Alicia to have second thoughts about her own perspective on things when usually in Isekai story plotlines the MC can change the minds of anyone in the span of a few pages or chapters.

She's stubborn to a fault of holding herself to manufactured standard and like most people of a noble background she is inflexible in her way of thinking when faced with the radical changes Miyabi is able to bring to everyone's common sense and she can't adapt or keep up with it.

Damn, can't help feeling bad for Alicia, being kept in the dark like this by the puppeteer lady and now blaming herself for Miyabi's leg injury. She needs better support than 'either do this bodyguard job for someone who isn't the one you want to devote your life to or go have babies but either way accept you've been discarded like yesterday's trash' that her brother gave.

Honestly she really fail spectacularly, and it is just a basic personnel protection. What is the use of loyalty and service if your master is dead?

Her intent might be pure and is in correct place, but she definitely not walking in that path, similar to a kid shouting he wanna be a doctor someday, but he just reading books about doctor biography and not doing any other necessary things, ultimately blind but still insist know where to go.

lol you failed the escort mission and now the NPC (since Miyabi is more or less one) is hurt.

Alicia's conduct is as much of a failure of Princess / Duke as herself. Didn't they have the notion that a personal maid to a manipulative / puppeteer princess should also have the same mindset to at least keep up the facade that these tools are in good company while they are being used? Instead, she thinks she can go rampart with condescension. Her training was a complete failure.

She is both a maid and a bodyguard. As a maid, she doesn't have the right to question her master's taste in company. But she sure as hell does as her bodyguard.

As for why she has issues with them, its likely stemming from her being indoctrined into the typical status gap that MC doesn't adhere to. She is currently of the noble elitist mentality, seeing one's stats as being more important than their merit. Its why she questioned why Mel was there. Mel is seen as being of higher status than other adventurers in her eyes, likely on par with herself in terms of status, since she often does work for nobles too.

What she currently doesn't understand (or maybe she does but is currently rejecting the truth) is that status isn't everything. It certainly adds a significant weight to one's initial worth, but its not as all encompassing as she wants it to be.

Honestly, she would quickly fail as an actual noble if she remains as she currently is. Being incapable of giving value to those who are simply below her in status is a surefire way to drive out those who are of real value. A kingdom cannot run on status. It needs those with the ability to do the things that are needed.

IIRC, or my mind is just hallucinating, its cause rotating things isn't like a "direct" thing of sorts? Like they can make stones be hot, or produce wind/water, etc. But rotating something isn't it. They could do it if they used the wind or water producing stones, to push on pistons with some valves ala proper "steam" locomotive, but their whole issue is that the MC is basically a technical retard. He got isekaied cause he architected nice looking things in a game IIRC, so he didn't even need to have actual architectural knowledge of how to make shit not break/fall down as buildings. So dude basically is vibes/looks only

Also if he could just use magic to rotate things, the whole arc of him having trouble doing it cause he is to stupid technologically would kinda fall apart, or some other issues would need to be invented to give him troubles?

Yep, its basically this. MC can enchant blocks with elemental effects like producing water or heat, but not mechanical ones like rotation and breaking.

Also MC is just like any modern day architect. I swear that they are all just vibe drafters nowadays. "Who cares about the physics, Im not the engineer, I need more load bearing windows".
