Kind of surprised with this one, looked like it was going to be one of those rare but usually terrible 'minecraft isekai' but the MCs op minecraft abilities only now and then are used in a broken fashion, instead usually just giving the rest of the characters a hard time as they try to grasp the absurdity they have witnessed and I got more than a few chuckles out of it before running out of chapters.

Shockingly good SOL isekai.
The MC has a cheat power, but doesn't step outside his role as a support. Granted he's a cheat at supporting. Beyond that though, he's yet to offer a "level 100 blade that instantly wins every fight" as well as having other struggles as a crafter. Furthermore his female companion also actually has a fleshed out personality with her own struggles instead of "thirsting for mc 24/7."

This manga currently has an 8.54 rating so I decided to read it out of curiosity since I like fantasy stories.

…. Why? Does it get better much further in or something?

So far the art is dull and lacking detail or strong foundational work as if it were a rough draft.
The story is pretty uninspired with nothing much having really happened so far; this is forgivable in other slice of life series because they have other elements to compensate like strong character writing or worldbuilding, strong dialogue or storytelling, strong humor or heart, or they feel philosophical and have some sort of message they want to convey.

This manga doesn’t really have any of that. It has nothing to say, it’s not pleasing to look at, the writing is weak, the characters have nothing interesting about them to the point that I can’t even remember their names or motivations, and nothing really happens of note.

Guy gets isekai’d and wants to craft stuff is a dime a dozen concept that’s been done very poorly and very well, but those stories still manage to be memorable and even sometimes enjoyable at their worst and exceptional at their best. There’s just nothing here and as a reader, I don’t know what this story wants me to feel. There’s nothing to latch onto or invest my time and emotions into. It’s simply bland and forgettable.

It’s a 5/10 for me personally, but I’d love to know why it has such a high rating or what exactly people see in this that I’m struggling to find. Maybe it picks up and becomes fantastic after a dozen or more chapters but it’s a slog trying to reach that point so far.

Characters have a bit more depth than the usual isekai. Biggest problem with it is the mild to severe sexism that the author just NEEDS to include for whatever reason.

They read way too much slop that a spoonful of soulful writing shock them top to bottom. On a more serious note though, comparing this thing to other isekais is more than enough to make it deserve a score of 8.54. No self-insert fantasy of copy paste mcs getting all women, no shitty plot conveniences that completely breaks any chances of conveying struggles, no characters with the personality of a wet-blanket. The struggles are relatable, the mc while out of common sense remains in his role as support (by that I mean he don't create some mass weapon of destruction with his support skills), The characters are kind and the story is warm. It doesn't rely on some gimmick to kickstart it self but tbh there are way too many gimmick series out there that falls off harder than NFT's (random analogy I know it's 4 am) so it's actually a breath of fresh air. Personally as a person who've read way too many slop I confidently gave this a 10 star and bookmark simply because it heals my soul.

Never look at manga score on any website to know if it's good. Most people think that One piece is a master piece and is one of the best story to exist.

If you look around enouth you'll one day end up finding the worst trash imaginable, and you'll see that they have a highter rating that great story like Frieren.
Some time ago a found a story, people were saying that is was a good romance and the MC was actualy good, it had a 8.5 rating at the time.
The story literaly start with a woman who was raped, killed and resurected continuously for year to the point that she acted as a sex doll to not have to be hurt too much, then the MC decide to have sex with her to "help her".
Guess what the people were saying? "The MC is a good guy." "It's so cute." and other retarded shit.

Half of the people reading manga haved their brain rotten by reading too much porn, isekai harem, romcom and shonen like One piece and DBZ.

Ch 28.1: Buraun_kohi, until your English improves significantly, you should stop scanlation, this was one of the worst MTL's I've ever seen.
I was going to say the same. He's been scanlating another manga I like, and it's ruining it. Not to mention the fact that he skipped 4 entire chapters.

This manga is pretty good, I'd give it 8/10 or so because of my personal bias for protagonists who creatively abuse their Inventory.

I feel like what the story really needs at this point though is a clear sense of the limitations of the MC's Class.

The author seems to have a sense of them - the MC doesn't follow the usual crafter loop of 'find great materials' -> 'craft a masterpiece' -> 'sell masterpiece for big bucks' -> 'repeat but better' - but it'd be nice to see the dwarven blacksmith use HIS overpowered abilities and have the MC go 'yeah I could never do that, that's a Craftsman thing, not a Production Worker thing'.
Because at this point it feels like the MC can do anything a Craftsman can do but also he can automate it and has an Inventory.

BTW, I checked NovelUpdates and someone started translating the light novel.

Free-spirit, but bound to Nobel demands and requests 🥱 if you're looking for a crafting adventure story.. I would steer clear as majority of the chapters revolves around aristocrat homes being upgraded by MC. Doesn't mean it's a bad read, just not interesting for what was promised.
