You know, he just asked her to be an advisor, not necessarily a teacher.

She just teaches the potential chef teachers, those who already know the basics, and they become the first batch of teachers.

Even in a medieval setting, the basics of preparing food, heating food, and basic bakery should be prevalent. Actually, it's even post medieval , since they practically have a high society, proper building materials, sophisticated cutlery and the such. She still has time for the cafe of hers

A teacher's side school arc? How rare.

(Most stories give student life school arc such as Knights&Magic. Or the main setting is the school with "out-of-school" arcs such as Negima.)

@Animegirl4002 Source light novel series for Cafe is here.
https://www.alphapolis.co.jp/novel/960114762/858135166

There's no fantranslation of the LNs, hence it's not on Novelupdates. You'll need to buy the books from Japan to read them.

There are currently 13 volumes of the light novel, the recent one releasing in Aug 2019 (1st book came out in Nov 2012).

Based on the synopses provided, this current chapter is now entering LN Vol 2.

It is nice to see Isekai that spread positive messages instead of power fantasies.

I find it interesting how they just glazed over her mentioning another spirit.

I don’t know what the raws say, but the microbe used to make miso is Aspergillus oryzae, or koji in Japanese. It is neither a yeast nor a bacterium. It is a fungus. Yeast and bacteria eventually colonize miso, but aren’t added. Koji is grown on steamed rice and then combined with cooked beans, etc, you know what? Read something else for food facts and read this for fluffy feelings.
