I know people are likely to complain about the PoS brother being "redeemed" but I honestly don't have a problem with it since he didn't actually succeed at causing any permanent damage. It's also not entirely his fault since he was afflicted with a curse that was driving his actions. As near as we can tell he was a perfectly decent person as far as royals/nobles go before the incident.

burn wounds are no f'n joke. Some people become addicted to alcohol or pain meds just to get over it all that on top of the physical appearance.

Also there was outside influence from those dark guild people that was probably dispelled with that potion.

You gotta forgive the author, author meant it like the prince was just like the normal copy paste protagonists origin stories, where every protagonist has a sad past of some kind.

You cannot just go and expect the author to remember what origin story they gave their specific main character, it's all the same anyway right, remembering every detail is a lot of work!

I don't know what I'm reading this for, the story is going around in circles, at this point. The MC being literally the strongest, he could've easily captured the girl from the Dark Guild but he didn't because author needs the girl to be a villain in the next arc who turns into waifu by the end of the arc.

Exactly! I’m sure a lot of people will take a surface reading of this and say he’s just another overly nice overly forgiving mc who is perfectly fine forgiving people who tried to kill him and his loved ones (And that could actually be said considering he forgives his own siblings) but the prince here was mentally unwell. The wound and magic overload caused a full mental breakdown. And it didn’t help that they then isolated him for several years so his actions make perfect sense and are really not his fault

if you were slipped a roofie without your knowledge and then crashed your car, you probably wouldn’t be found guilty of driving under the influence because you didn’t choose to do so

there’s a reason why people can claim they were innocent of a crime due to insanity. At a certain point, it’s not your fault.
