She's the right girl for him. I bet she'll fall for him even if he didn't changed. I'll riot if she's not the main heroine.

Also, a tip for those gangsters, they can get more messing with the twins than messing with some random guy. Referring to cliche villainous moments: The girl has a nice body, and the boy can be held hostage, while also retaining the pride of a strong group not being stepped on by some bratty children.

How could Kaori recognise the dude from his eyes when his eyes were hidden by the emo bangs? They even inserted here an image of him, pre-transformation, and the eyes are completely hidden. If you check ch1, the eyes were never there. This is so stupid.

I kind of wish Youya stayed short fat and ugly. I can't help feeling like everyone is only nice to him because of his looks.

I feel like this story would have had a lot more impact if his appearance hadn't changed. Like this, it's basically saying that if you're getting bullied it's because you deserve it for being ugly, and the only way people will come to like and respect you is if you're hot

I find it strange that this is the message people are taking from his appearance change. It's as if you're simultaneously holding onto the two conflicting beliefs that how you look shouldn't matter and how you look matters. The reality is looks do matter. He was bullied for his looks. And he already wanted to change his looks (it's seen earlier that he was exercising to lose weight and build muscle) He was able to achieve it much more dramatically though due to his abilities.

I guess I have a different take. I accept that attractive people exist and that people will gravitate more towards them. It's just the nature of people. But ultimately, you can still be ugly even if you are attractive. For the protagonist, I see it simply as his quality as a person is now being reflected outwards. From a narrative perspective, I think this can be difficult for people to accept since it makes him more difficult to empathize with depending on your own personal values and belief system.
