Given how the final page foreshadows the future, I would assume Shidou might be his only normal friend that isn't crazy for him. Plus I'm surprised after encountering a yandere that it didn't make Kanata recall his interactions with all the girls & their behaviors. At least he is now more mindful of yandere listeners but I doubt that will save him. Thanks for the translations.
