What issue with quality? Both are surprising and unexpected, no plot armor, believable characters, lots of emotion, etc. Not perfect, but above average.

That's just it. The characters are not believable in the slightest. Juujika especially. Sure, everyone besides the MC is liable to get ganked off screen at a moment's notice, but that's not the problem with the writing. Characters die in the wackiest ways unlike in the more well written Maria no Danzai, which is effectively Juujika but not bad. The surprises are also just bad, like when the author tries to off a previously important character only to go "lmao that wasn't actually her but a look-alike " not even 5 chapters later. And then the guy who had her look-alike killed brains himself with a gun right in front of her and the MC.

Readers will believe the impossible but not the improbable.
