Wow, an isekai where the main character is reincarnated as a lake. I sure hope that he actually stays inhuman, as the concept is interes-

Oh he gets a human form right away

I see I see
I sure do hope that we won't spend the next 50 chapters walking around this totally unique world solving a bunch of dumb problems while the author spends way too much time explaining the most overused ideas! Oh and when we get the slaves, can we get a loli?

This could be a unique premise if they made more connection with the lake... Like, why becoming a lake? It's so random to have just an ordinary student dozing off in the classroom to suddenly become a lake.

Why not make the MC someone who has a connection with water to begin with? A person who loves to spend time at a lake? Or someone that had a family member drowned in the lake, so when he became one, he had a reason to be helpful so other people wouldn't meet the same tragedy?

This is something the author came up with just for the sake of wanting to be a different isekai but not commit to actually making it interesting...

Yeah, I would call this an almost isekai version of the manga 'Tanaka-kun Is Always Listless' (Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kudarage)

That's… actually quite unique for a change. I love the concept.

Man... Little kids getting hurt always makes me ball my eyes out. Especially when it's an older sibling who's a kid themselves trying to protect their little sibling, or even the other way around.
I hope this story turns out well.

The first chapter is kinda of going super fast. Takes a nap one sec, in another world a next -> instantly okay with it. Lake form one moment -> unintentionally manifest human, and somehow knowingly being to change that form shortly after. New to the world -> but somehow knows what his capabilities are (Ex: creating a little water companion for the kids). I feel like these are just Nick picks so I'm not going to let them bother me, just felt like this was a Speedrun chapter.

The concept is interesting, but the writing seems lazy and most definitely could have some improvements.

In my opinion, it'll be more interesting if the protagonist is not an isekai MC #48762, but a bona-fide minor spirit who was born at the same time as the planet. And as time passes, he gains consciousness, grew more powerful and eventually all the "water" in the world are part of him. That way, he'll amasses an exorbitant amount of knowledge and wisdom as he walked through the passage of time, in which at one point he would be regarded as the "Primordial Water Spirit". But then for "unknown" circumstance, he got sealed in that lake.

A fuck ton of Isekai stories nowadays like having "Isekai-ed MC" just for the sake of it, while serving no real purpose at any point in the story besides a convenient tool in the beginning to "skip some things".

It's downright lazy storytelling and writing. Sorry for the rant, just gotta let this out of my chest.
That’s an unfortunate part of writing these kind of stories.

Man I was really hoping for since it was a water spirit he would be like some type of cool water monster like chaos, some type of non human aquatic form or at least be the male equivalent of the big generic Tiddy water spirits.

Is nobody gonna talk about how he randomly died in the middle of his classroom? And it probably just looks like he's just sleeping. I can imagine it taking some time before someone noticed unless someone touched him. Kids in that class were definitely traumatized. Poor him too.

Some of these comments bring up some really good points, ngl—well, anyways, guess we’ll just see how generic this ends up actually being… 🤷🫤.
