Was hoping the manga would focus more about being water spirit and it's implications (like being bound to water sources, spirit contracts, offerings, idk), but they're basically treating him like an overpowered human mage doing guild quests
I'm thinking it's like a vibe check. I'd imagine someone trying to get a higher position in the church that was revealed a few chapters ago would catchwind and then proceed to understand great spirits need contractors to manifest and eventually target his kids. So if someone approaches them with worship and adoration, they pass the vibe check and get an in. I forget if they also showed that his water magic has an inherent detect lies and or good/evil intentions, but i kinda remember something like that popping up.
Has there been a single chapter where he has managed to keep the "secret" of him being a great spirit... well... secret? It seems like he tells everyone he meets.
A monster stampede you say!? Who could possibly have seen this coming? If only the MC was some sort of immensely powerful spirit with a deep connection to the balance of mature, he might have been able to sense this disturbance!
I have officially given up hope that the author is gonna to do anything original at all with this premise
I mean, when every single full elf you meet wants to worship you, people are going to notice. So, might as well tell anyone that wants to know, while not bothering with anyone else.

Literally😭 saw a video on this and decided to check it out. Maybe I should’ve waited a few more minutes before leaving the vid and reading this for myself o(-( started out interesting but quickly became stale.
