@skytempest Yeah, that would make sense. I was basically just going off him having the same tone hair color as Warren's pic, but with the bit about disguises earlier Heil makes a lot more sense.
Ah, confirmation that friendly playboy is the cat masked man. I went back to check and in all their interactions so far Souma never referred to stoic companion by name. However, she did do so on front of catmask. Therefore that’s most likely where playboy learned the name.
Speaking of which, I can’t remember anyone’s names hence the nicknames.
A remark on the translation on page 10: Seth and Souma are translated as talking about "scything" someone. This is a translation error. The word 鎌 (kama) can mean "a sickle or scythe", and indeed is used in that sense later on, when describing Seth's fighting with one as a weapon. But 鎌 can also mean "a leading question", and that is the sense that is being used on page 10. It's wordplay.
@Okamiana Very understandable, here's a quick list of everyone's names (that are important right now.) Chie Souma - The protagonist, goes by her last name and pretends to be male for her security. Is searching for the 'Wise Lady of the Spirits' with the Norves Knights. Heil - Also known as 'Leon, the Golden Lion' and head of the Norves Knights. He leads the investigation for the 'Wise Lady of the Spirits' and
showed up at the end of this chapter, albeit with a different hair color
. Seth - 'The Grim Reaper', also in the Norves Knights. He's escorting Souma around the town Dallas for that 'Wise Lady of the Spirits' mission. Brad - Owner of the 'Ash Swallow' inn and the 'Silver Kasagi Pass' information shop. Allen - The friendly playboy from Dallas. We don't know much about him besides that he's pretty popular in Dallas. Cat-masked man - Didn't have a name, was just an advertiser for the 'Wise Lady of the Spirits' show.
There's other people with names, (Matilda, Mary, Jack, Warren, Emeria, etc) but they aren't super important in this chapter.
