I think there are two halves to the zombie girl, where mcs real aim is thr zombie spirit thing that can just escape to another body.

i made that up :p

Nah, the zombie personality will just take over and that's when she with her superior morality decides to cut the zombie girl down.

Of course Ai-chan is totally dumping this shit out of Ai-chan's sweet, sweet ass.

We'll probably see it next chapter but i assume as long as zombiegirl has control, everyone just dies when she does. The plan might be to free all the victims first. The girls group doesnt seem throw away characters but could be im just coping

she might be an innocent kid but she did just genocide an entire island full of people, feel bad for her all you want but in the end she's a mass murderer and she can't control the evil within her, she needs to die.

honestly this started out kind of new and fun but it's kind of a mess now. And I'm not saying this because MC wants to save the weird zombie girl, I'm more annoyed with the abstract power scale right now.

seriously if they have this insane powerful girl right here who's cutting through the demon king's daughter like she's cheesecake, why did they even need to summon people from other world to save them?

Also how strong is MC exactly? I was more into the whole secretive assassin mostly because it's fun seeing him trying to outsmart these insanely godlike characters to kill them while he's the weaker one.
And yet here he is, fighting on par with some insane demon sword who can literally slice people to pieces within seconds???
That's a fair assessment.

Whether or not Yui and this Zombie aren't evil, they still caused a massive massacre that killed a lot of people including the adventurer characters we got to know. How is she even able to make that kind of decision for others who became zombies with no choice? just kill Yui already.

We have GOT to stop going "oh but muh children" when they're the source of the problem.

Page 13, 2nd panel from the top. Remove "b" from "bperson".

Page 13, bottom panel. "goddes" should be "goddess".

In before zombie girl gets killed by another reincarnated, i would genuinely chuckle if it happens right after Silkie finds a way to "deal" with zombie, likely that other girl who knows her will kill zombie girl just to spite Silkie, likely to make Silkie kill her (the one who knows her) to prove a point.

I'm guessing Onee-san will intervene. And the goddess won't be pleased too.

yeah, this series really doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. it started off with a weak, sociopathic, sadistic, loner MC who loves (and is addicted to) killing, but who now is fighting on the frontline, collecting friends, monologuing about being nice, and protecting the weak

that's not in itself a problem, but you can't just forcibly shift the entire premise of your series and expect it to work, at least not in such a short number of chapters
I think what makes it an enormous problem here is that the initial premise was extremely structured on multiple levels.

Like there are tons of ways to start a story that allow you to adjust or decide a bunch of stuff later, but this story started by declaring a bunch of stuff up front.

It's similar to how heist stories work: This story is about a heist, here is the main character(s), here is an overview of their skills and resources, here is an overview of the heist they will pull and the difficulties involved, and now I will detail how they use their skills and resources to pull off the heist.

Feels weird to then have the character go, "Y'know what I don't think I'll do the heist" or give them a bunch of extra skills without mentioning what they are.

the premise wasn't exactly shifted as the MC has, since reincarnation, been choosing only to kill the depraved. it was explained in the very first chapter that the MC hated killing innocent people to the point of trying to refuse reincarnation.

true, but the "Zombie" personality spilled the beans that Yui wasn't exactly in control, causing the MC to reclassify her as 'not evil by choice'. plus, they spared one of the magicians, as she is effectively harmless since her cheat ability requires her partner to be alive, a fact that even the goddess acknowledged and let slide
I figured that she will eventually be key in killing Sato and 9999 lives guy. I really hope that is where the author is going, because letting the zombie chick die so easily screwed up a lot of my guesses. I really don't like how this arc ended. Yui should be like Invincible's Immortal, you just need to sew the pieces back together.:cautious:

This arc really went a bit...off. And the other two heroes should be zombies too, but like, power of friendship and all causes them to retain some of their personality. Like the guy in the movie My Boyfriend's Back. I wanted expectations subverted here because the zombie cheat is almost custom made to do so. Instead it's just.... Gone

Underwhelming finish here, I thought Silkie would reveal a cynical pragmatic side, not merely "trying to avoid killing the semi innocent"
That she would realise Yui can be controlled and the two adventurers no longer need to worry about "true death" unless they literally lose their heads making them great "anti reincarnate tools." (Like Ayumu in Zombie desu ka or Billy in Hocus Pocus)
The purpose of them all surviving would have been Silkie only thinks of them as "tools" initially but comes to care for them as part of the orphanage later on. Yui could have also eventually learned to control her skill, turning it off when she wanted, or even learning to undo it. Would have made for a good fake out later where Sato forces her to bite Idera or Silkie only for zombification to not work

I hope this means my theory they use Sil to teach Lunatica Resonance isn't a wash, she's going to need more than punching harder to deal with dragon lady and the other top 3 reincarnated. Sil coming to care about the person who murdered her lover enough to reactivate Resonance would be another twist Sato can't see coming. (Or if that's too shounen for you, we find out you can also utilize pure hatred) The writing was so damn good up until the zombie arc!
