To me it look like the hero was the main target and the one to really make choose. So i don't believe that the woman was really that affected by the curse.

The primary effect is to make him see his greatest desire, which we know is his wife, that enthralls him and then makes him waste away. The secondary effect just seems to be the breaking of his charm.

Ok, so I was wondering and I looked back. Chapter 22, her husband was kidnapped by the Demon King 5 years ago. In ch 23 the wife charm applied in full. In chapter 24 to 27 they had lots of seggs and drank lots of Elixirs. Then in chapter 27, the wife charm broke and a coffin was delivered to her.

So I wonder what happened for the wife charm to reactivate. It also gave a glimpse that without the wife charm, while there is some lingering attraction, it immediately removes all that lust and desire that they have, even after intense 3 chapters of UOOOOOOH SEEEEEEGGGGS TAKESHIIII!!!!!!

Though these wives have experienced the Enraged version of it with Womb Leveling Up Action. But now we also have the additional issue of a confirmation that the hero is pretty much unable to move on from his cheating wife, although with a layer of mind affecting curse, not quite mind control level so it indicates his personal willpower is not high enough to move on.

He had some character development that unlocked his ability to go berserk and be Enraged, he needs to learn to go above his past regrets.

Her husband was probably brought back to life. This is based on Dragon Quest, where you have your dead team members in coffins that follow you around until you can get back to a church to have them revived. We know this works here too as this method was mentioned before by Olga when they were in the dungeon.
