Having a goal can and does make a huge difference in drive and will. This guy clearly has no clear goal- he seemed to just be an adventurer trying to make a living and the possession was by a guy that was just a corporate slave and no ambition. He doesn't even know why he is in the loop or how to get out. Subaru had a clear set of goals from the beginning- surviving and saving the ones he cares about, which he also knows is his only way out of a loop.

Man, at least last a few dozen years in your loop buddy. At least get past the part where you've explored more of the city, learned more about the lives of the people in the city, learned how to speedrun befriending people, learned multiple skills, school of education, stories and whatnot. And then after you've achieved proficiency in multiple fields that would take lifetimes to master, then move on to going brain break.

But I guess this is mostly just to emphasize the willpower this MC has, which isn't very high. His spirit is made of tofu.

Honestly I think MC fell to disparity way too quick here. Although possibly because all he could think is the pleasure of the world instead discovering something new. Gonna follow this series to see where it goes, wondering how this series gonna combine heavy atmosphere about immortality looping and harem genre.

The dude slept with every whore in every brothel in the city multiple times until he got tired of it like if you or I ate at our favorite food everyday for a month or week and get sick of it. So the dude probably spent at least a half of a year screwing off. I guess the author told the artist, to screw off when told to show a person getting tired of months of sex.

Hell, I'd bet even the editor was probably like, "Come on, we can milk this for a few chapters before he falls"

[edit] Thinking about it after some time i realized this is probably why in the manga & novel "Sekkaku Cheat wo Moratte Isekai ni Ten'i shita n dakara, Suki na You ni Ikitemitai", the author stops doing porn for awhile to fill out the story with mecha battles and the like. The author is that one even took a creative approach to sex, so it's not him slapping uglies together with different people every chapter.

People listen. This is a manga and it is Japanese.... You need to lower your expectation about the quality of this story... Yes it is rushed, but maybe the author has a short attention span and doesn't think it is worthwhile spending 10 chapters on him doing everything possible before getting depressed and killing himself. Why waste time on the sad stuff, when he can just be shagging psycho girls with stars floating over their head? Just feast on this slop until it is cancelled in a few issues ;-)

This is pretty realistic when it comes to physical hedonism. When all you do is just dive into carnal joy ... at some point you're going to realize the fleeting nature, and the fruitlessness of it. You begin to realize how pointless it all is when you find there's no meaning to anything and you have nothing of substance in your life. MC realized he has no relationship with anyone, no one will ever remember him, no one will even remember what they did together, he can't build any relationship with anyone, and that everything he's doing at the end of the day was meaningless. It was fun living like that at first, but everyone will soon come to a point where they're seeking something much more substantially meaningful to them. Then they have only a couple choices. They either seek even more degenerate things to seek new experiences and ignore the void in their lives, or they fall into utter despair and end up eventually living like a dead man or commit suicide, or they start their journey on seeking something more real that will fill their void.

I can see where you are coming from and i kinda agree but i also think having the manga do several chapters to really drive home how long he is looping will kill any momentum the manga has.
