Man I love this author's/artists interpretation of demi-humans. Harpies don't have to be models in terms of beauty and they have arms separate from their wings, something you don't usually see in manga. Goblins too where they're a bit more like imps yet not monstrous at all. I feel like if the author/artist ever decided to they could make a manga on par of dungeon meshi

This was a good ch too, Marie becoming a shut in after facing verbal abuse then coming out her shell to stand up for someone who was kind to her.

Very much common things to happen today, other people especially older just not giving a damn they are being mean, and justify themselves doing so to build character. All they make is building a nasty experience just for their own shit taste.

Just because she not look as good as others, does not mean she get ugly treatment. If someone neither does things that bother others nor wrong, that someone deserve to get treated nicely, ugly or not.

Maintaining a beauty is burdensome and can be very annoying as you getting more on age, many compromise with that fact now rather than fighting it. And adore the idea that not every beauty is what you see on first sight, it is what you see with what you are living with.
