It's actually have been referenced way back in Chapter 9 and is funnily the actual origin of sandwich in this world.
Dunno if it is true, but writer Dewey Llambdin said once it was Shrewsbury who hosted the card game and Sandwich was the one who got hungry and asked for the famed cuts of meat between slices of bread, "as to not get his hands too greasy"

I remember how when we first met Hildegard and how apprehensive we were as readers for her to be married so young, their relationship is sweet~

Probably saw herself with her husband in Nobu specifically, that's why she remarked about the place. It wouldn'tbe strange to see a reflection, but to see the place change would be strange.

In conclusion, she saw a date set in her favorite place.

Because unlike her husband who was satisfied with just being together, she has more imagination on what could make her the happiest at that moment. (I myself think that eating at Nobu with my partner is better than being at work with my partner.)

My boy Maximillian become more manly and noble now. I'm so glad.
Hildegard is taking pains to cultivate him properly. She is subtle, but effective. He is so in love with her that all it takes is the tilt of an eyebrow or a movement at the corner of her lips, and he will know whether he is doing right or wrong. He wouldn't even know that he's seen such tells, but he will shape his behavior right away.

Gotta say that Hildegard dresses well, and shows, um, potential for the future. ahem

Consider we know for 100% fact that the supernatural exists in that universe, the Fae kidnapped him, toyed with him, wiped his memory of the time inside the gate, and dropped him off at his hometown as payment for the entertainment.
It is good that the one who occupies the Kamidama in Nobu's is benevolent, since Eva had an encounter in modern Japan through the back door. As fortunate is our wayward soldier. He could easily have arrived at his destination aged thirty years and mad as a hare. That they simply put him in another city is about as good as it gets.
