Despite the power of his attacks it feels like the mc is still holding back. Like he's truly not trying to kill him. Also got some naruto flashbacks with the sudden eye transplant.

I think it showed her as part of that cult/evil group a couple of chapters earlier when they introduced the hero as a villain? So she likely knew what she was getting into (in terms of killing MC and just generally being a scumbag). The eye theft might be deserved.

Even fictional worlds need consistent logic to be believable.

It's fine if some of that logic is hidden, and perhaps revealed later.
But another entirely for it to be made-up and backfilled as author goes along.

This manga is falling deeply into that second, bad, rut.

Knight is MIA, but we've seen the mage. She actually showed up before the Hero did, at the end of 13.1, badly beaten, I don't think she's woken up yet. I assume she fought against the Hero or something, and got whapped as a result, and is probably a good guy. Maybe Knight die to help her escape or whatever.

Saintess is alive, and with the Hero, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was revealed to be coerced/brainwashing or something. With the "both the girls secretly loved the MC" trope, I feel like it's most likely either both are good or both are bad, and Morin's probably good.
