Dude, the sage and saintess are just retarded. First the sage. So he had a crush on both of the girls in his party, and they both loved him, but he never did anything about it? Then he has the nerve to get angry about them moving on? Why the hell didn't he make a move? He liked them, so he can't play that mentally challenged MC card and just pretend he doesn't notice the girls want him. As for the saintess, not only does she join the hero who wants to be a demon king, let's him pluck out her eyes to make him more powerful, but she just ignores the fact that he killed one of their party members, and nearly killed the other? The sage should have killed them both. Especially when she claimed to be the hero's wife. This story just hates the MC. I can get behind a story where the MC is just down on his luck, but when the MC is mostly responsible and does nothing to fix it, this just comes off as bad writing to me.

4/10. Way too many goddamn people trying to hurt MC and his friends but he's a good boy so he won't go Eren route and instead leave them alive so they can comeback with more shenanigans. I thought the goal was for him to find happiness, thought it was a feel good story. Yeah that's not happening lol.

Bad pacing l, convoluted and incoherent, lacking character development, there is no though out reason behind anything happening, the characters are stupid caricatures and the reader is left hanging with no info all the time.
2/10 would not recommend.
