Think of it like a cellphone that was disconnected from it's service when they were sent back home, but using the skill essentially logged back into the network while in the dungeon. The dungeons are a liminal connection to the other world, a sub-space perhaps.

I don't think this whole dungeoneering job is profitable for average dungeoneer...

that's like a company but only the executive can make a living, the employee have to work a side job.

i guess that we are seeing the world in a state of change, they say that they went missing for 1 year, so basically the gates are here for only one year while our mc's trained way longer, so basically this world isn't like many hunter stories where we have a 10 year time gap or higher, so i guess that this is why the ranking is still low

both? it reset so he has nothing but he can feel the monsters he tamed in the other world. seems simple to understand.

Oof five chapters in and the cringe just keeps piling up. The world building is very shallow and the main character speak like text book generic OP mc. The girl is just for hyping him up. I literally cannot feel any life from any of the characters, if that makes any sense. Still gonna keep trying though.

The reset likely means that when they returned his taming on her dissapeared, unclear for now if he it can be dispelled anytime and he a done so before returing to their own world or it happened for the teleportation, there are esome stories where isekaied characters lose their powers after returning home, they didn't lose it, but maybe it was kicked back to lv.1.
But it goes against his feeling his other tamed beings, so I'm guessing he can dispel it? Probably taming is like slavery and that was why he was against it.

He knew his power reset because his connection to her was severed and he had to reestablish it by using it again. If he has to reestablish that connection, then why can he still feel his previous familiars after the reset?
If we're using phone metaphors, it's like factory resetting your phone and losing all your contacts. More appropriately, it's like losing your social media account and losing all your friends in your friend list; how do you know they're online if they're no longer in your friends list?
Either metaphor is shoddy, but the point, I hope, comes across.

Let's keep up with the phone metaphor a bit. Your factory reset actually is good except he still has most of his innate power so it doesn't quite fit.

The other world is where all his data was stored, and he wasn't in range of the network. But the dungeons are connected to that world on the periphery, the connection is weak but the signal still comes through. As soon as he entered a dungeon he noticed a single bar on his connection meter. This allowed him to do some basic checking of his socials, but can't get much more than that.

Because he hadn't stepped into one of the dungeon entrances in his world, he couldn't know that all his tame were still there. All he knew before this is that he had no tames at all, and the tame undoing with the girl was probably a magical hiccup or he subconsciously dropped it not thinking he'd need it.
