I do wonder when they level up, all the stats goes up as they explain in previous chapters, so like he become much smarter, but I wonder about their looks and stuff. Cause it seem like most high level people are bishi except our hero.

Either that, or his stats distribution is hilariously lopsided on str, int, dex so he can be the strongest and cast every spells, but ignore the rest of the normal stats lol

Not sure about Charisma Stat. In novel it mentioned that Intelligence Stat are working properly. Quote from chapter 9:

Adventurer High Schools are filled with student who could easily pass entrance exams to the University of Tokyo.

And it was mentioned in the manga few times as well (entire chapter 3.1, partially in 4), biggest one how fluent is they language, and why they allowed such lenient attendance at school (once a week).
