It is a shame. He did learn nothing from his mistake and just because a girl is looking at him he decides yeah she is definitely trustworthy and I break my promise not to do it again. And I even do it with other people. So how is he refusing then to do it for other counties as well? This whole PL thing is a disappointing turn in the plot imo. Like someone else in this thread I'm wondering as well if he will meet the princess again. Is seems weird that she wanted to marry him in the first chapter but she is never mentioned again.

Honestly, my money is on that the princess is somehow involved with why there are dungeons in the real world.

She pulls some heinous shit ramping up over time starting with spreading rumors that she and the MC are dating for clout. Then she says she is pregnant and its MCs but gets exposed later and expelled from the school. She starts an adventurer training course with her parents (but its like a pyramid scheme). Someone dies during that and authorities get involved. She and her parents get arrested. She escapes and kills her parents in the process (not by accident or anything). She runs to the deep parts of the dungeon in order to hide, gets killed and raised as a wraith by the dungeon. Later on MC and harem comes in because there is an alert about a dangerous monster appearing in the dungeon which is her. MC personally kills her off for good.

There is bunch of shit happening in between like her stalking and harassing the MC etc. but important parts are these.

Well, that's for sure an unexpected turn of events. But I like it, it's just messed up enough.

Wasn’t she the only person who was kind to the MC when his parents died? He was never in love with her or anything but it seemed like she was a decent person before the dungeons appeared and they had a healthy and supportive friendship. It’s a bit sad to see that she’s going to fall that far tbh.

Yeah that make her fall painful for MC but kinda realistic, that is how some friends got estranged or distant but the straw was she being unable to control her killing intent

She goes out with the popualr and strong kids and separates herself from MC, that is more or less the same as we have seen
After MC identity gets leaked she realizes she lost a treasure and spreads lies about them being fiancess, engaged and other crap, it works with some as they were childhood friends, but MC negates everything.
She did get pregnant with someone, I forgot who, bnut I think it got aborted because it was only brought up in a single chapter.
She became a dungeon idol, wearing skimpy clothes and going with her fans, that had no battle power, of course a ccident happened, the thing was a bad business move started from a corrupt ex-cop that had a twisted vision of communism and wanted it to control Japan, he started multiple scams but thanks to his knowledge and experience never got arrested thanks to loopholes, MC is not the police and teleported him in a dungeon.
Returning to CF, after her situation got worse she got arrested,I don't remember if it was for mistakenly killing her parents or something else, there she gone in a mental breakdown, escaped and killed a cop, MC had to rush as a adventurer killing a normal person would have damaged the image of the whole community, her parents in the novel had supported her lies about being together with MC to get to hsi money, in the manga they are stil lclean but is unlikely it will stay that way.
Anyway after escaping she finds a dungeon that was still not hunted, I think she wanted to hide and get strong enough that no one could arrest her anymore, it was one with many or only ghost monsters, she got killed by a wraith or duhallan and it was a special case that merged her with the monster, the ghost had a power of a ghost carriage/cage, every being she killed was trapped in it and became a extra life, she had killed a ton of monsters when going for the exit so when MC found her it took a while...
MC had to do it as she was a pure monster of the worst kind, smart, able to grow and with extra lives so normal hunters would have only feed her.
Unfortunately she was broken until the end, thinking MC was he man and he was cheating.
The novel have a LOT of stupid villains that act on pure greed and can't think deeply.
