Thankfully, 'killing' for MC is just taking away their classes and levels. That will 'kill' them as adventurers for good.

The MC is more than willing to kill people who piss him off. Remember, he hypnotized the school board into dungeoning without the proper equipment and thus they could have easily died. Additionally, there was the whole killing intent fiasco.

She pulls some heinous shit ramping up over time starting with spreading rumors that she and the MC are dating for clout. Then she says she is pregnant and its MCs but gets exposed later and expelled from the school. She starts an adventurer training course with her parents (but its like a pyramid scheme). Someone dies during that and authorities get involved. She and her parents get arrested. She escapes and kills her parents in the process (not by accident or anything). She runs to the deep parts of the dungeon in order to hide, gets killed and raised as a wraith by the dungeon. Later on MC and harem comes in because there is an alert about a dangerous monster appearing in the dungeon which is her. MC personally kills her off for good.

There is bunch of shit happening in between like her stalking and harassing the MC etc. but important parts are these.

Holy shit, that some crazy development for a character that seemed to be out of the story already.

I really love the subtile weird vibe this manga has

The horrors that humanity can visit upon the world through the leveling system is just beyond the edge of the story. The fact the primary cast is mostly younger has kept the horrors fairly low key and pretty self centred. As soon as you get into adults, psychopaths etc. involved at a higher level with functionally impervious bodies and no means to be held to account it could go to shit quickly.

The difficulty of the dungeons has kept the people who can access them somewhat low, I feel like without MC about a decade from dungeons appearing the world would become a hellscape. Some places would’ve become hellscapes faster.

Here's hoping the manga adaption reigns it in like they usually do. There's only so much of the whole "watch this girl who didn't choose the mc become a horrible person as their life crumbles" shtick I can take before it just gets boring.

It is a shame. He did learn nothing from his mistake and just because a girl is looking at him he decides yeah she is definitely trustworthy and I break my promise not to do it again. And I even do it with other people. So how is he refusing then to do it for other counties as well? This whole PL thing is a disappointing turn in the plot imo. Like someone else in this thread I'm wondering as well if he will meet the princess again. Is seems weird that she wanted to marry him in the first chapter but she is never mentioned again.
