And he is most definitely on the spectrum I can’t remember have we seen him blush or act remotely (generically)human?
Thing is if you look at the authors other works all characters act like this, its just weird writing I fear
Chainsawman author cant write characters that dont act like they are on the spectrum too

i wonder if it’s because it easy and sells or authors personal preference?

Kinda feels like the author was gonna use the adventurer trait as an excuse for her shitty personality only to quit that plan and just have her be a plain bitch

I know, but he acts very childish and whimsical.

I've reread the chapter and the part where he accuses Kayoko of being childish is the definition of "pot meet the kettle". Ryoji was most likely handheld throughout entirety of his otherworldly adventure. I believe even in some parts of the manga it was mentioned that he did as was asked. So, he basically had a guide telling right from wrong since day one and as far as the manga has shown us so far - He hardly tested anything by himself. And the part of him trying out his killing intent is a great show of that.

Meanwhile, there is nobody to explain these things to Kayoko. And I imagine the same is more or less true of other adventurers as seen by the priest guy believing to himself that it's alright to be hit a [Killing Intent]. Now after rereading the chapter, I can clearly state that my problem lies solely with Ryoji, he is far too immature for his age and can't comprehend how other people see things. It'd be fine if he stayed away from everyone and enjoyed power tripping, but since he chose to meddle with other people's affairs. I hope we see him mature, otherwise it looks to me like he will do more harm than good in the long run.
Your ignoring a lot of things to come to blame the protag. 1. She is immature because even if she did it accidentally he confirmed exactly of that's what she did. She should have accepted and apologized. Secondly she is literally in an adventure high school she has plenty of people to tell her what she's doing. She is actively receiving guidance every day.

Ngl i kinda wanted the childhood friend can reflect herself to become much better person, for sake of her mother.

I dont really like the [LN or WN?] direction for his childhood friend tbh (read the spoiler). I hope the MC can reconciled with her.

I don’t know why you guys are so upset about the MC's choices.

  • She hasn’t believed anything the MC says since chapter 1.
  • The moment she sees someone better than the MC, she ditches him.
  • After that failure, her arrogance makes her look down on the MC and refuse to fix their relationship.
  • That arrogance actually caused her mom’s death, yet refuses to listen to MC (how dare you nag me when you are not an adventure. how dare you say it’s my fault when you’re just level 1).
  • Having an “adventure” trait is not an excuse; otherwise, everyone else would act like her. (she also has better education and free online guide)
  • It’s true that MC has a choice to help, but neither choice is incorrect.

And let’s be real, if she really cared about MC, she would’ve recognized who he is. He didn’t hide his height or voice (or he did? didn't seem to mention this).
She’s just with the MC for the insurance and inheritance money. The moment she can make money on her own, she ditched him.

RIP Kayoko; she used to be such a yamato nadeshiko... I wonder if she'll ever go back on the straight and narrow, at least enough not to kill her own mom.

Lol at Healer-kun begging for death.

Tbf, he could have shown her how op he was, and warn her not to try her luck, otherwise she will face his wrath or something, but he's too much of a cuck to do that.

Im really sad this happened to kayoko and her mother... Kayoko was sweet so as her mother, then few chapters back and she become a rebellious teen and the mother got thinner... This is soo sad...
