Well, if you want spoiler (from what i remember reading the WN more than 1 year ago, so i might be misremembering things).

• No, the Land God is freed from his binding by being kill-off, so that it could reform as a new God with new personality, because there was no saving him, as he had been too corrupted to be allowed to live.
• The Mom was technically forced to marry the other Man, because she never said who the Older Daughter's Father was (though the grandma did figure it out by herself), and they needed a legitimate heir for the Family. It is also one of the reason why in the WN, alot of the people within the Clan didn't like the Older Daughter, and was actually the first one to be put forward to be sacrificed.

Do keep in mind that the Manga is somewhat different compared to the WN, so not all of the point i mentioned would be applicable, though its quite clear that the Older Sister is the related to the Land God, because they have similar features, especially the hair.
