1. It's 70% of an unknown stock. Depending on if Almus is willing to lie or not, it could be not very steep at all.
2. The threat of war is pretty pointless, since:
2.1) If Ferme kill everyone then there's nobody left to prove that an attack happened.
2.2) If Ferme raids the village and takes everything not nailed down, then it's up to Roisce to maybe raise an army and then maybe march to counterattack.
Either way, it would be bad for Ferme on the macro scale, but on the current scale (read: Almus's friends getting stabbed) it wouldn't help things very much.

The military tech seems inconsistent. The villagers got iron tools and salvaged iron swords, but a King's "elite" soldiers have barely any armor, and spears. And I count 10 men and 2 rows in one panel, 3-4 rows in other panels. King has 20-40 elite soldiers at the minimum, is he really afraid of 100 villagers, half are children? Maybe his group was poorly equipped or he's still afraid of angering the griffon. Oh well, just a story.

So some things I think they should do:
First, send a messenger to Rosice king asking for back up.
Second, the mc has a power and doesn't use it at all so what is the necessity to have such powers in this world ?(He has now 100 followers, last time he actually used it he had only the original 32 kids, I think)
Third, set some traps and stuff, they have the knowledge of the territory they are in, using some traps shouldn't be hard.
Fourth, they have 4 voodoo mages(even if they are still training it's more then the one the enemy had), is voodoo magic so useless that they couldn't even get away with the track the enemy was following ?
And last but not least, they REALLY should have some fight trainning with all the technology they have or at least the rosice king should had send some guards there, since they are a really big asset to the whole kingdom.

whats even the point of MC being stronger than normal? this reminds me of all those "normal life" "slow life" isekais, they want something more normal but they still need to make the MC op which makes the story dumb when conflict happens

Wait... isn't this a declaration of war when one king attacks territory of another?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but King Ferme pretty much marched his army into King Rosice's lands and basically ransacked over half of a village in his territory. Wouldn't this provoke war?

This chapter doesn't make any sense as people like @shakur explained. The King of their kingdom accepted them as citizens; why won't he defend his territory ? Leave them go through would just mean they could invade it another time to attack his own palace which is pretty close to the forest by the way.

This chapter doesn't make any sense as people like @shakur explained. The King of their kingdom accepted them as citizens; why won't he defend his people and his territory ? Leaving them go through would just mean they could invade it another time to attack his own palace which is pretty close to the forest by the way. Surely, the king said he had expectations of him and would take the risk to let him die ? "Like if he dies it was all there was to him?" What kind of bullshit is that? Clearly in that world what kings need is knowledge and technology which he can provide. A king wouldn't let him run around, let alone being in danger; most would keep them by their side at all times.

Losing 70% of your ressources is akin to being weakened. Once they take 70%, maybe they'll come back for more or just wait that you're weak enough to trample you.
So it is to buy time to prepare ? What for? You don't have the means to prepare with no ressources. Just being fed would be a struggle at this point.

No matter how you look at this; it doesn't have to be bloody but the way it was resolved. That king ferme is dumb too; he doesn't want to lose well-trained soldiers ? They can't kill a few villagers while staying safe? No bows or anything. I also don't like their predictions on how the king wouldn't want to lose any soldiers and would only bring elites; what if he just took scrubs on top of that to do the dirty work? Once they've taken, 70% of ressources, they could have asked for more or just burn the village behind them. Like the character of the king doesn't look in line with his actions. Being forced to negociate is also a humiliation for a king compared to a villager chief ??? It ended with the typical "we're in another world but we're just cooking living peacefully and lowkey' kind of bullshit story.

I don't know, it doesn't seem natural; there is no real tension. It ended up like this because of the plot, not because of the impredictable nature of humans or the settings we were shown.

Guys, this King Ferme already moved his army into this country's territory, as mentioned by the King and his brother.
The King simply won't move over a dmall village of 100 people. Yes, MC is unbeliavable valuable, but the King simply doesn't have the leeway to march to war. Thats what I take from this in this chapter.

Why in the hell didn't he show off his own personal strength? He could have easily gotten that 70% of his supplies waived. With how much the village has grown, surely he must be many times stronger than he was. he could have just thrown a rock at a tree or some shit to show that he could even kill the king if he wanted.
