did you miss the part where the Griffon gave him the moral superiority card by saying "youre different cause youre a ruler so anything you do is ok.", after he remembered the initial lesson the griffin gave him about humans being bad cause they just murder and kill because of their wants?

@boag good point, it seems contradictory compared to his first appearances. Maybe he wasn't really condemning it in the first few chapters?
I don't think based solely on the chat here its contradictory though. He is saying anyone can do anything they want, and if he is a ruler, he should do exactly that if he wants to keep being one. That was my take. Now if another ruler comes and Griffon condemns him, then thats an issue, but your take of "You are ok because you are the mc" seems too far fetched, and made solely to get some laughs.

as I understood your post, youre remarking that im poking fun at the situation by implying the Griffon gave the MC the moral superiority card by saying "youre the MC so anything you do is morally correct", while at the same time stating that if the griffon encountered other "leader" types he would give the same advice thus maintaining the moral stance of leaders can do what they want but humans are bad cause they do what they want.

I refuted the argument by stating that we will never see another character with the MCs position of ruler talk to the griffin, as well as backing it up by stating that when the MC originally met the griffin he wasnt neither a leader nor a ruler.

And yes I still maintain that its a hypocritical situation the author did just to give his character free reign to do whatever the fuck he wants without having to deal with morality issues.

I'm quite confused about something here, he's worried getting against dibel will cause a civil war. But seriously, does he think if leaves dibel alone, and that guy becomes king of rovice, there won't be a war against his ash kingdom ?
I mean they hate each other, and dibel isn't the kind of guy who would peacefully rule his kingdom.

This is just pointless. MC really is is just a following pushing too hard to be a leader, he clearly doesn’t understand in depth human nature.

If you think long term, Rigar will invade your kingdom, he’s the type of guy who wants to prove his superiority, especially on a guy like our MC, whom he hates.

Sure you can avoid a civil war if rigar gets his way, but with rigar’s nature, lots of people will still die possibly due to forced conscription to wage wars, emptying coffers, or even hoarding supplies from his own people, leading to famines.

At some point he will invade the Femce kingdom just to leave his mark in history as someone important, to prove his superiority. Rigar is like an ulcer, leave it alone it will get worse in the long term for everyone, including neighbouring countries.
