Welp, for people who someone come hoping for more spoiler :v I bring you 41.1 that just came out (check my earlier post for spoiler of 40-2)
Almus confirm with his aides whether that arrow could've been considered a mistake ('what's the chance of an arrow just randomly flying at ME?')
After getting affirmatives that they can count this as hostile action, Almus's army charges, and basically had a silent "I could tell what you were aiming for, and I'll respond to that wish of yours" to the guy who baited that arrow.
Strategist dude realize "fucking Gilbert screwed up" and probably legged it at that point.
And Gilbert came out screaming "IF I JUST KILL YOU EVERYTHING'S SOLVED!", as if Almus didn't need anymore evidences that Dibel soldiers shot first.
So Almus casually defeat him in a duel and have Ron apprehends him while Almus have "wait wat?" moment about the strength he just used (reminder: he has Blessing of Kings that give him stat boost the more people see him as their leader)
The rest of the Dibel soldiers just scatter after that, Bartolo questioned if they need to give chase but Almus say to give priority to the refugees.
