Been wanting to see Ferme get his ass handed to him since his first appearance. Looking forward to see that happen. My only concern is who's gonna die on the village's side. No battle is without fatalities on both sides...

This war seems the beginning of the "true story" (like said in chapter 1) ^^
I really like this Isekai and I hope it will continue for a long time.

@Goronthil I wouldnt get my hopes up since many manga adaptions of LNs tend to be teasers for the source material, but it would be great if this sticks around for the long haul....

@firefox1234 Polygamy is practiced in this world because
Men die at a higher rate in this world, like many earlier medieval cultures because more men go off and die in war. Therefore, there's a higher population of women. And you generally find that only rich and powerful people have multiple wives because it's expensive to have a lot of wives and children.

Cavalries...
Rose (a dude) gets a leather armor... while Ria gets a bikini.

10/10 realism.

Rosewood is a consripted (he actually enlisted but there's no enlistment policy in Rosice) full soldier by the country and would need proper armor, while women are only expected to support the army using voodoo magic and/or healing *if* they have ability. In this case, Ria hasn't been supplied armor because she surprised everyone when she volunteered to fight despite no ability. Instead, she is having to wear basically the same clothes she wore when she came to the village. I wouldn't expect her to get any equipment support, soldiers need to supply their own equipment in this world.

FYI you'll also find that women in this world have a very unequal (lower) standing compared to what we would come to theoretically expect in the current modern world.

It just got boring with the forced drama on too many fronts at once. Not to mention nothing in the world the author created "makes sense", the whole setting and plot points feel very artificial.
I know this is meant to be fantasy but that doesn't mean it shouldn't follow at least some internal logic or the characters shouldn't act like people with brains.

Most of them are NPC's with little desire or ability to think for themselves, the author also just thinks at most 1 step ahead before doing something.
I'm not much of a critic or anything these are just the things that I feel made me drop it after 20+ chapters.

The problem is it lacks believability at this point. The author has NPCs calmly talking to the MC in the middle of chaotic situations, it's ridiculous.

The leader of the opposing side in a huge battle is fifteen feet away from you and you're having a calm conversation about tactics together for a few minutes while a battle rages on? Come on.
