Well, I remember reading somewhere in the comments of past chapters that in the novel

they return to the village to see her and she has given birth to a child. If I remember correctly the child is the MC's. I might be remembering wrong however 🤔

I will say, though. in the Webnovel, midway through the story, all original heroines stop appearing, yes, even his sister.

This is because by then the MC learns about his father, and goes through a journey on the "empire". However, in the manga, MC was found in the forest and then adopted by his mother. In the webnovel, she is his blood related mother, so I don't know how that will work out.

Spoiler: Machette's past and Sao's father

Machette lived in the <forgot the name> Empire, where basically might is justice (that's why she is a strong warrior), I think she was a warrior from a nation that lost to said empire, thus she was essentially a prisoner to be "used" by the winners.

At some point, she got pregnant from some random soldier. Then the Emperor, who likes strong women to make strong children, wanted a new woman, and a vassal offered Machette to him, and he liked her. However, after their first night, he considered killing the 1st child, can't remember the exact reason though.

That night, Machette took her daughter and escaped against all odds, fighting to the end until she was out of the empire, and started living in a small village. She later found out she was pregnant again, knowing who the father is, but she never told him.

He goes on a journey with another biological sister (there are many sisters and brothers being revealed now), one with the rare job Valkyria, who acts as his guide in the empire.

Well, Morose did help me remember the reason why the Empire was ruthless

Though they value Women who are strong, but that Empire primarily only values rare and powerful Jobs, so they dispose of any child with common Jobs, even if it's a girl (as they believe that a strong Woman with a rare Job would have higher chance to giving birth to a child with rare and powerful Job).

So, they decided to kill Machette's first born, aka., Calipa who was born with the common Job "Knight".

It has been I think a couple or so years since I last read it, so I didn't remember, but that was it, the Emperor only cared for rare jobs (Which is why the Valkyria sister was also one of the special ones). Calipa was born as a mere Knight, so he considered killing her.

To Machette, she was her only child, and she braved herself out of this empire of really strong people.

So while she was used in brothels and stuff, she did not lose any child. It's possible that for an Empire that praises children born with rare jobs, that would not be acceptable behavior.
